TCR UK 2024 championship runner-up Brad Hutchison will return to the series in 2025, with the aim of claiming the title in the Bond It/Elland Roofing backed Cupra Leon Competicion that he took to three victories last season.

After two years campaigning a Gen 1 Audi RS 3 LMS, which he dragged into the top 10 regularly across the 2023 season, a first official victory was achieved at Snetterton. Over the year a hoard of podiums added to two further victories left the Yorkshire racer in with an outside chance at taking the title heading into the last race of the season, ultimately finishing second.

“We’re proud to be back in TCR UK for our fourth season and hoping to continue where we left off at Silverstone with the last win of the year. We’ve had incredible support from our sponsors and we look forward to another exciting season in 2025,” Hutchison said.

“Having gotten to grips with the CUPRA Leon Competicion TCR last year and taking three wins, I’m excited to go racing again, and this time, I want to go one better than last year. We’ve shown that we can race with the best teams and drivers in the championship, so I’m aiming to add the biggest trophy on offer to the cabinet by the end of the year.”

MPH Racing, run by Martin Hutchison, has taken a slightly different perspective on racing in TCR UK. The team has utilised hospitality as part of their strategy, which over the last three seasons has seen a vibrant atmosphere round the MPH garage, with partners and guests getting a close up view of how a racing team works. “The TCR UK Touring Car Championship has been an amazing opportunity for our customers to get involved trackside and experience truly feeling part of a racing team on TCR UK race weekends,” Bond It Marketing Manager Kirstie Cooper points out. “After finishing second in the Championship last season, we have set our sights on being number one this year and look forward to some nail-biting action from Brad and the Team in the Bond It Cupra Leon Competicion. We’ve enjoyed a great experience being in the TCR UK Paddock for the last three years and we look forward to another thrilling season.”

Elland Roofing has also passionately backed the squad over the last couple of seasons with directors James Bayley and Rita Messenger ever present in support of the team. “Elland Roofing are proud to sponsor MPHR for another season of racing in the TCR UK Touring Car Championship and we can’t wait to see Brad and Lola with the number one board this year.”

Stewart Lines, TCR UK promoter, who raced in the Oulton Park round in the Bond It Audi last season, is pleased that MPH Racing have returned for a fourth season. “It’s great to see Brad, Martin and the team make their return to TCR UK for 2025. Since they joined the championship back in 2022, Brad and the team have made big strides each year, and 2024 was no exception,” he said. “Brad took the first wins of his touring car career, and as part of a family-run team, this is testimony to the hard work that they all put in. I look forward to seeing Brad fighting at the front this year.”
