The Lynk & Co name will return to the TCR UK grid in 2025, this time for a full season of competition.
Ben Sharpe Racing will run their newly acquired Lynk & Co 03 to run alongside the Cupra Leon Competicion of Mark Smith as the team step up from the Gen 1 Cup into the main championship for the upcoming campaign.
Stewart Lines will drive the car under the Maximum Motorsport with BSR banner, but will step aside if the squad attracts a driver with an eye on a one-off appearance or full season entry.
Team Director Ben Sharpe said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have a second TCR car on the grid this season, with Stewart getting behind the wheel of his newly acquired Lynk & Co. The car has already proven its pace with a win last year, and we’re busy getting it prepared for pre-season testing. It’s also exciting to work with a new brand, especially one that’s just around the corner from us at BSR. We can’t wait to get the program started.”
Lynk & Co took an opening round victory in 2024 with Viktor Andersson at the wheel. The sought after machines have seen success internationally with the Chinese manufacturer using TCR as a selling point in markets where the car is sold.

Lines said: “It’s great to be working alongside Ben as his team expands their lineup in TCR UK this year, taking on the running of the Maximum Motorsport Lynk & Co 03 TCR. The Lynk & Co caused a stir when it was announced last year it would be making its debut in TCR UK and was one of the cars that drew the most attention. It’s great to see the brand returning for a second year in the championship.”
