Harry Bloor will continue in the TCR UK championship this season despite the loss of the Hyundai i30 he campaigned for the first five meetings of 2025 being lost in the Power Maxed fire last month.
The BTCC outfit was also responsible for the TCR UK Junior team with Bloor and Fin Leslie, but will not be involved in Bloor continuing in the series as he moves to a new team and new car.
Vannin Motorsport will field a Cupra Leon Competicion for Bloor from the next round at Snetterton where he will team up alongside George Jaxon in a Cupra Leon VZ and Luke Sarbeant in an Audi RS 3 Gen 2 machine.
“I’m pleased to be able to go racing once more and to get back out on track for the final rounds of the 2025 season,” Bloor stated. “I’ll admit that there have been some tense moments recently where I wasn’t sure what would happen in the second half of the season.
“I’m extremely grateful to Power Maxed Racing for all their guidance and support during the first half of the season. What they have been through is an awful experience, and I’m pleased to see that the motorsport community has rallied around to help get them back on their feet. I wish them all the best. I know there is a new learning curve to work through as I adjust to the Cupra. There is also the challenge of working with a new team; however, Peppe and his team are already well-versed in the championship and the TCR concept, so I’m excited to see what I can do in the final stages of the season.”

Bloor, who stepped in to TCR UK from karting, sits in 10th place in the table having scored a best finish of fifth in the second Croft race. The junior programme is in its first year and is already being viewed as a success after Bloor’s teammate Leslie grabbed a one-off appearance in a Speedworks Toyota in the BTCC earlier in the year.
“The unfortunate events at Power Maxed Racing HQ have had far-reaching consequences for several drivers in TCR UK. That said, we are working tirelessly to locate cars for those drivers affected so that they can continue their 2025 season,” stated Championship Manager Jack Finlan.
“The Junior Touring Car Driver Program is an important initiative to help young drivers take that first step into Touring Car Racing. Having made the move from Karts directly to TCR, Harry has shown impressive progress throughout his first season in TCR UK. It’s great to confirm that he will be back.
“I’m also incredibly grateful to everyone at Vannin Motorsport for their time and support, as they will now prepare the car and run Harry in the final two race weekends of the season.”
