MAX HALL COMMITS TO TCR UK FOR 2026 WITH HALL’S RACING

Max Hall will commit to a full 2026 TCR UK campaign with newcomers Hall’s Racing, hitting the track in a Honda Civic FL5 with an aim to claim the outright title.

The Bristol teenager will compete as a JAS Development Driver as the legendary Italian Touring Car constructor adds a second customer outfit alongside the previously announced DTR Honda entry.

“I’m delighted to announce that I’ll be racing in TCR UK for the 2026 season, with the aim of securing the Drivers’ Title. I’ll be driving for the new Hall’s Racing team, which brings over two decades of motorsport experience. Whilst they may be new to TCR, they know their stuff, which means that we’ll be able to hit the ground running at the start of the season,” Hall stated.

“Working as a JAS Motorsport Development driver is a fantastic opportunity for me, and I’m ready to work hard as we take on each weekend throughout the season. The Honda Civic is a new car to me; however, we have a testing programme in place that will help me get up to speed quickly.”

A plan is in place to add some European TCR running across the year as he looks to step up the TCR order. Hall told Touring Car Magazine when making his TCR UK debut last season that the idea of racing on the continent was an ‘attractive’ prospect for the future, before going on to claim a double podium over his debut weekend.

Hall tasted success in the JCW championship, finishing as runner up behind multiple champion Dan Zelos in 2024. A move to the BTCC in 2025 began with some blistering lap times in pre-season. The uncompetitive nature of the Un-Limited Cupra he raced led to him stepping aside from the squad at the halfway point of the year. His combative style led to a few run ins, but that pure Tin Top style of elbows out racing has served him well and ensured he was competitive in TCR UK from his very first race weekend.

Hall’s Racing will run a second Civic FL5 with the driver of that car to be announced in the coming weeks.

TCR UK Championship Manager Jack Finlan added: “Max made a big impression last year at Snetterton and Brands Hatch, so it’s great to see him return to the championship for a full season. Being part of the JAS Development Driver program, Max will also be able to develop further as a driver and learn more about the Honda Civic, which has seen a lot of success in Global TCR Competition.

“I’m also very happy to welcome Hall’s Racing to the TCR UK grid. It’s always good to welcome new teams into the championship, and as a second team running Hondas, this takes the number of FL5 TCRs up to four for the 2026 season. This shows the faith that teams and entrants have in the championship, providing stability, variety and more competition for the year ahead and putting on a great show for everyone following TCR UK.”
