Touring Car Magazine is the dedicated home for “tin-top” racing. In an era of fragmented motorsport media, we provide a unified, independent voice for the BTCC, TCR UK, and the wider touring car ecosystem.
Our History: A Proven Focus
Launched in 2019 as Motor Racing UK, our print publication originally covered a broader spectrum of motorsport. However, we quickly recognised a distinct gap in the market: fans weren’t looking for “general” news; they were looking for the depth and “insider” access that only a specialist could provide.
Responding to a significant surge in interest in our Touring Car coverage we made the strategic decision to pivot exclusively to Touring Car Racing in 2023, as a result both print subscriptions and digital engagement has grown. This evolution wasn’t just a change in name – it was a commitment to the most dedicated fanbase in the sport.
The Integrity of Independence
To maintain absolute journalistic veracity, Touring Car Magazine does not carry external advertising. While many outlets rely on “click-driven” revenue, our model ensures:
Unfiltered Analysis: Our reporting is free from commercial bias or sponsor influence.
High-Intent Readership: We don’t chase “casual” clicks. Our audience consists of the sport’s most engaged demographic – the team personnel, engineers, series organisers, and of course the “super-fans” who drive the paddock economy.
Professional Trust: Drivers and teams know that when they speak with us, their story is handled with accuracy and professional respect.
*Touring Car Magazine operates under strict independent standards; we do not provide copy approval or pre-publication reviews to external parties.
Multi-Platform Presence
We reach the touring car community wherever they are – on the grid, in the grandstands, or at home.
The Print Standard: High-quality physical editions that serve as a permanent record of the sport.
The Digital Hub: Breaking news for the 2026 season via the Touring Car mag website.
Touring Car Tea: An in depth podcast with unfiltered paddock insights that sits alongside raceday vlogs on our YouTube channel.
